This Privacy Policy has been developed by O5 Systems, Inc. to reflect our commitment to providing the highest level of integrity in customer service. O5 Systems, Inc. strives to provide you with useful information about our privacy policies and procedure. O5 Systems, Inc. has:
- been effectively and responsibly managing confidential personal information since its inception in 2013.
- privacy policies and procedures in place to implement the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and other relevant privacy legislation.
- PIPEDA – O5 Systems, Inc.’s Privacy Policy and Procedures implement the principles of PIPEDA and other privacy laws, including:
- Accountability: We educate all our staff to be privacy sensitive; our Privacy Compliance Officer monitors ongoing PIPEDA and privacy law compliance and responds to inquiries.

- Limiting Collection: We limit the collection of personal information to that which is required for a specific program and to that which is voluntarily provided.

- Individual Access: Upon request, individuals will be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of their personal information by us, and receive access to that information and make reasonable changes to it as necessary to maintain accurate records. You are also able to modify, change, or correct some personal information in your O5 Systems, Inc. profile yourself.
- Opting Out: You may opt out of a service by contacting us. O5 Systems, Inc. also has a “Do Not Mail / Do Not Call” service.
- Personal information is any information which personally identifies a user, such as a name, address, phone number, e-mail address, employment history, etc. Personal information does not include the name, address, phone number, and e-mail address of business contacts.
- Collection – We collect personal information from potential candidates, including if the candidate provides O5 Systems, Inc. access to the candidate’s LinkedIn profile, the information that the candidate provides to LinkedIn. We collect a candidate’s LinkedIn member identification (username), but we do not collect or see the LinkedIn password. If you choose to complete certain forms or send us requests, you will be asked to provide the following information: full name, street address, city, province/state, postal code/ZIP, phone number, e-mail address, your resume, educational history and answers to survey questions.
- Use – We use your personal information for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and for other uses disclosed at the time the personal information is collected. For example, Personal information will be used to contact users with information about updates to our website, respond to enquiries, provide users with information about O5 Systems, Inc.’s business, and to send newsletters (you may opt out of receiving the newsletter at any time) and other information to keep you up to date with what we are doing. We also use personal information that a candidate provides us with in order to match the candidate with a suitable employer.
- Disclosure to Potential Employers – Some personal information of a candidate will be provided to potential employers when a candidate is matched with a potential employer. When a candidate approves the match with a potential employer, the candidate provides their consent to share their full O5 Systems, Inc. profile information with the potential employer. - Disclosure to Service Providers – To process transactions, O5 Systems, Inc. must disclose some of your personal information to certain service providers. O5 Systems, Inc. only discloses to service providers which agree with O5 Systems, Inc. to protect the privacy of your personal information.
- Disclosure in Business Transfers – If O5 Systems, Inc. sells or transfers some or all of its business, it may disclose your personal information to the acquiring organization, if the acquirer agrees to protect the privacy of your personal information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. If at any time you do not wish O5 Systems, Inc. to disclose your personal information as part of any such sale or transfer please notify O5 Systems, Inc. at privacy@idealc.com.
- Law Enforcement and Legal Disclosure – O5 Systems, Inc. may disclose your personal information to a government or quasi-governmental agency that has asserted its lawful authority to obtain the information or where O5 Systems, Inc. has reasonable grounds to believe the information could be useful in the investigation of unlawful activity, or to comply with a warrant or an order made by a court, person or body with jurisdiction to compel the production of information, or to comply with court rules regarding the production of records and information, or to O5 Systems, Inc.’s legal counsel. - Links – This website may contain links to other websites. O5 Systems, Inc. assumes no responsibility for the information, statements, product/service claims, or privacy practices of other websites. Read the privacy statements of each website.
- Storage and Protection – O5 Systems, Inc. stores your personal information on secured servers in the United States. We take commercially reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure from unauthorized access. There are risks with any communication of information over the Internet. O5 SYSTEMS, INC. ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY IF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS INTERCEPTED OR OTHERWISE INTERFERED WITH BY THIRD PARTIES. - Non-Identifiable Information – Like many websites, our website automatically collects certain non-identifiable information regarding website users, such as your mobile phone, computer’s and your Internet Service Provider’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, the date and time you access our website, the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our website, your operating system, the sections, pages and images of the website you visit, read and view, and the content you download from the website. O5 Systems, Inc. uses this non-identifiable information for website and system administration purposes and to improve the website. For the purpose of enabling better website design and a better user experience, we employ Google Analytics (a web service by Google, Inc.) to track site traffic and provide aggregate reports of how the public interacts with our website. Session cookies are employed by Google Analytics in the form of client-side JavaScript code. In utilizing this analytics service, O5 Systems, Inc. maintains its existing standards in regards to the sharing and disclosure of information, security and privacy safeguards for the data, and the data retention policy, each described below. Google Analytics analyzes website usage information automatically upon visits to the O5 Systems, Inc. website(s). Users who do not wish to have their visit information collected by Google Analytics may opt-out by downloading a browser extension or by disabling cookies in their browser settings. Opting-out of web measurements will still permit users to access the full O5 Systems, Inc. website, with all included information and functionality.

- Encryption – O5 Systems, Inc. uses no encryption (data scrambling) on certain portions of the site, but uses encryption on portions where you are transmitting financial information, such as credit card information. Keep in mind that there is no such thing as perfect security.
