About the role

Using a multi-tiered approach to business development, the successful Account Executive will be supported by a qualified inbound lead pool and dedicated Business Development Representative to help with prospecting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will use a consultative approach to partner and build rapport, help identify challenges, and demonstrate the value that ZoomInfo can offer to clients through phone conversations and web presentations. 

Being a ZoomInfo Account Executive

For the most part, work is done over the phone or through the use of web presentation tools. However, there are occasional travel requirements for the successful Account Executive. So the ability to understand and analyze client challenges, along with the aptitude to formulate and communicate a strategic plan to address client needs is critical.

What You’ll Do as a ZoomInfo Account Executive

  • Perform outreach activities to demonstrate key product features and functionality for prospects

  • Contact qualified inbound leads to examine their business needs and offer clear solutions

  • Use a consultative sales approach to build long-lasting business relationships for ZoomInfo

  • Collaborate with team members to improve the sales process and approaches internally

What You’ll Bring as a ZoomInfo Account Executive

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Sales, IT, or Business Development

  • At least 2 years of progressive B2B sales experience in a technology environment

  • Strong work ethic and pride in delivering high quality business relationships

  • Ability to identify, understand, and solve technical and business problems

  • Working knowledge of industry CRM tools, such as Salesforce

  • Excellent communication skills for active listening and client engagement

  • Proficiency in common office productivity tools, such as MS Office

  • Demonstrated professional maturity and healthy level of emotional intelligence

  • World-class sales training credentials are preferred for this role
