ABOUT THE ROLE
The Yesware sales organization is growing fast! We are excited to be hiring for our first Account Manager.
This person will be responsible for serving as a trusted advisor for our most strategic customer accounts, working side by side with the Sales and Customer Confidence teams to drive revenue through retention and growth deals. As the founding member of the Account Management team, the right candidate will also help put process and best practices in place to help us build this area of our business.

Achieve and exceed designated revenue goals
Serve as ongoing post-sales point of contact for our strategic client base
Clinch renewals: get in front of upcoming and future renewal opportunities at our largest customers, negotiating and securing ongoing terms
Expand our presence: identify additional users, teams, and departments at existing accounts for potential growth deals
Find up-sell potential: enable our customers to maximize their relationship with Yesware by finding or building them the right solution
Overcome risk: uncover at-risk accounts and proactively address concerns, reducing churn and maintaining customer retention
Lead inside and field customer meetings, liaising with all parties and traveling as needed
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Confidence, and Sales Operations teams to optimize company sales efforts
Professionally represent the Yesware brand, vision, and values at all times
5-10 years of proven success in consultative sales or account management
Record of being a top producer, exceeding quota, earning promotions or awards, etc.
Experience in SaaS, high tech, or startup environment
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Strong work ethic and commitment
Positive, supportive, team-oriented attitude
Dedication to the customer and their success
Familiarity with Yesware, Salesforce.com, Google Apps, Outlook
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
