Market Development Rep
About the role
We are building a team of inbound sales reps, aka Market Development Representatives (MDRs), to work out of our San Francisco office.
Why are we building this team? We are making waves within the $70 billion content marketing vertical, and the interest in our product has been nothing short of phenomenal. We want to fill our Account Executive’s pipelines even more by building an inbound sales function that focuses on qualifying leads and setting the AEs up for call-level success.
MDRs will be responsible for calling, educating and qualifying inbound leads. The ultimate goal is to create sales-ready opportunities for our Account Executives.
As our first MDR hire, we are looking for someone who is smart, entrepreneurial, loves to hustle – and wants to make a big impact early in his / her career. We are also looking for someone who is process driven and appreciates the value of building a blueprint we can use to build the larger team.
What will you be selling at Visually:
Visually provides an online, on-demand creative services team for companies of all sizes. By leveraging a hand-picked team of freelance specialists and robust online project management platform, we can deliver agency-quality creative services more efficiently and cost-effectively than traditional models. You will share the Visually value proposition with mid-market companies, working with decision makers at the Director of Marketing level and above. The ultimate result? You will build the Visually customer base and bring your customers visual content and creative work delivered by some of the most talented creative professionals in the world. Help us share the power of Visually with as many companies as possible!
What you will do:
-Quickly come up to speed on our business, target customers, and our unique value proposition
-Conduct initial conversations with prospects and paint the Visually ‘team sourced’ creative services vision.
-Engage prospects, qualify them as legitimate sales opportunities, and hand them off to our Account Executives.
-Track all of your sales activities in Salesforce to ensure that we maintain good sales hygiene and develop a process that is repeatable and scalable
What you will need to be successful:
-Hustle! Our MDRs will need to be high-energy and fast-thinking to get prospects engaged, excited and onboard.
-Personality. People buy from people they like, and your ability to be engaging and develop a strong relationship over the phone and email will be essential to your success.
-Intelligence. Our clients are seasoned marketers and content experts, and you will need to know our products and their business to instill the confidence needed to turn prospects into loyal customers.
