About the role

About the Role

This is an Inside Sales role where as a Regional Account Manager you will be responsible for selling Vena’s innovative budgeting and forecasting software and related services into a defined territory. You will work closely with potential and existing clients to build and maintain trusting and consultative relationships.

You are a passionate individual with a strong sales background who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric, entrepreneurial environment. You are highly motivated, results-oriented and have a proven track record of exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

  • Tirelessly complete a high volume of daily prospecting calls and market nurturing activities

  • Drive generation of new leads to build an ongoing pipeline of sales prospects

  • Direct prospects to special events and webinars

  • Track daily activity and sales progress in Salesforce

  • Collaborate with the Vena team throughout the sales cycle including Business Development, Marketing, Solution Engineering and Implementation

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets consistently

  • Complete accurate and timely sales reports

Skills & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field

  • ‘Hunter’ mentality with an innovative, entrepreneurial spirit

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in cold calling or full cycle sales and account management

  • Exposure to working within SaaS and knowledge of accounting and finance practices and processes

  • Experience building a business or new territory

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships with senior management and C-suite stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and autonomously

  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to clearly understand and address client requirements
