Inside Sales Representative
About the role
Tulip Retail is working with some of the world’s largest retailers to transform their in-store experiences. Our mobile platform for sales associates is already being used at leading retailers such as Toys”R”Us, GameStop and Frank&Oak. We are growing quickly to take advantage of a massive market opportunity and have an open position for an Inside Sales Rep.
The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities. The rep will work with marketing and the other members of the sales team to identify and target contacts within large retail accounts using email, phone calls, LinkedIn and other methods. The Inside Sales Rep will connect with senior level leaders within large retail accounts and engage them in a dialogue around their current and future in-store operations, how they equip sales associates to serve customers and how they plan to use technology to transform the in-store experience for clients. The Inside Sales Rep will work with in tandem with Outside Sales Rep who will assist in sales meetings, proposals and contract negotiations.
Successful candidates in this role will be analytical and numbers-oriented. Our sales process is new and evolving and every member of the team is encouraged to bring new techniques, tools and ideas to improve our sales processes to the table. We are looking for a self-motivated person that is driven and tenacious. The compensation package includes an uncapped commission structure.
Learn and execute processes to generate new sales opportunities
Engage executives in targeted retail accounts and move them along a sales process
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects using SalesForce and other tools
A strong desire to learn and succeed in startup SaaS solution sales
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Experience in inside sales, engaging with senior prospects both over email and phone
Salesforce.com experience a plus
