About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Major Account Executive’s (MAE) primary responsibility is to be accountable for driving and expanding the strategic relationships with Partners of TripSpark to ensure that the product suites are utilized in Partner organizations.  The MAE will aid the Providers in navigating the TripSpark company to connect internal personnel to ensure that their needs are met in a consistent and responsive manner.  The MAE will carry a Partner sales quota as well as administer and develop tools to enable Partners to expand our product offering in their organizations.  The MAE will promote the TripSpark suite of products and service offerings and is responsible for increasing revenue with continued growth and Partner satisfaction.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as central point of communication for designated Partners
  • Maximize transactions for our technology at Partner accounts and achieve sales quota in designated accounts
  • Build C level relationships at non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) providers to ensure understanding of the value of the TripSpark solutions and partnership
  • Build productive, professional relationships with business development representatives as well as corporate level of public transit providers to ensure understanding of the TripSpark solutions and partnerships
  • Create joint value proposition for each provider to partner with TripSpark
  • Coordinate the involvement of TripSpark personnel in order to meet Partner’s objectives and expectations and ensure consistency of messaging. 
  • Establish programs internally to aid Partners in maintaining knowledge of the TripSpark product offering
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate Partner needs on an ongoing basis
  • Aid partners in selling the product suites at their client sites by providing proposal material and other sales related material
  • Drive adoption of TripSpark products at assigned Partner client sites
  • Maintain high Partner satisfaction rating as measured annually by customer satisfaction survey


  • Extensive travel is required to support the partnership development
  • Preferred Education
  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in technology, business or computer science

Specialized Knowledge and Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of Partner experience in high-tech company, preferably within medical and/or public transportation industry
  • 5+ years of technology sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, high energy, initiative and ability to drive change
  • Knowledge of TripSpark product suites an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation industry an asset
  • Knowledge of Public Transit industry an asset
  • Self-motivated, accountable and strong sense of teamwork
  • Take initiative to follow through on requests and commitments and effectively  manage tasks to completion
  • Ability to communicate with Partners on technical matters
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong group presentation skills
  • Proven customer relationship skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and comply with tight deadlines and perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong teamwork skills for cross group co-operation
