About the role

Top Hat is looking for an amazing person to perform outreach activities to excite and engage professors in the use of Top Hat software tools in their own classrooms. As the Sales Account Director there will be elements of inside and outside sales functions.

Being a Top Hat Account Director

Working out of our Toronto office, the Sales Account Director will perform a hybrid role to expand our reach within the educational services sector. The ideal person will bring top-notch interpersonal skills, untampered enthusiasm, and unparalleled determination to build positive business relationships.

What You’ll Do as a Top Hat Account Director

  • Accountable for sales performance within a specific market territory of post-secondary institutions

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador to execute responsibilities as a trusted business development executive

  • Develop End-User adoption through dedicated client relationship management on school campuses

  • Educate professors on the benefits and functionality of Top Hat to demonstrate its value in-class

  • Lead demonstrations of Top Hat on-campus or through the use of virtual presentation software

What You’ll Bring as a Top Hat Account Director

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Sales, IT, or Business Development or equivalent

  • Previous experience or willingness to learn cold-calling techniques in an outbound sales office

  • Unparalleled interpersonal communication skills and energetic motivation to succeed with Top Hat

  • Strong attention to detail and self-starter that can hit the ground running and grow with the team

  • Ability to manage special projects for the executive team that support initiatives for sustained growth
