About the role

Responsibilities :

o   The successful applicant will work within the Business Development team and have responsibility for technical relationships with partners, from developer level to CxO.

Overall, we are looking for motivated candidates focused on evangelizing Talend technology and securing Talend as the preferred technology for joint go to market solutions. Key job functions include:

o   identifying business issues and relating them to Talend capabilities;

o   articulating Talend’s value proposition and differentiation at all levels within a partner organization;

o   building and delivering presentations and demonstrations Talend that clearly demonstrate Talend’s unique value proposition and competitive differentiation;

o   management and successful delivery of Proof of Concepts (POC);
Note that this is a hands-on role and requires the pre-sales consultant to install and configure the Talend software to meet the needs of the POC as defined and agreed with the partner.

o   demonstrating success at working both independently and as a valued team player within the extended sales and management teams.

Profile :
Significant and current experience of two or more of the following disciplines:

o Big Data (Hadoop distributions and key technologies)
o Data Quality (DQ)

o Data Integration (ETL) 
o Master Data Management (MDM) 
o Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) 
o Business Process Management (BPM) 
o Relational and NoSQL databases

Technical knowledge should include Java, SQL, XML, JSON, XSD, XSLT and HTML; 
Demonstrate the ability to manage a high number of concurrent, active prospects; 
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
