About the role
TwinCites.com/St. Paul Pioneer Press is hiring for a Local Media Account Executive in our advertising department in beautiful St. Paul, MN.
This person will be responsible for generating advertisingrevenue for TwinCites.com/St. Paul Pioneer Press, with key focus on our digitalproduct offerings. Working directly with mediums sized local retailers todevelop marketing programs to meet their business objectives, using our fullsuite of products. Helping companies manage their marketing via our programmatic, SEM, SEO, e-mail, social and print advertising products. Develop and present inperson advertising proposals to local decision-makers, explaining how suchproposals are consistent with the audiences the advertiser needs to reach.
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalentexperience. Degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Digital Media helpful.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of full time,progressively responsible, business to business sales experience, withdemonstrated success in managing and growing revenue. Experience in selling,planning, & managing digital solutions strongly preferred. Google AdWord certified preferred.
Other requirements: Must have a valid driver’slicense. Must have computer proficiency: Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Strongability to translate customer’s business objectives into effective digital and printadvertising campaigns. Ability to present information in a persuasive way.Ability to use sales skills to gain acceptance and commitment torecommendations. Ability to understanding complex marketing and competitivedata or analysis and to relate that information to advertisers’ objectives. Theability to organize work in order to set priorities, and change them flexibly.
Compensation: Competitive base salary andcommission/incentives
This is a full time position, based in St. Paul, MN. Weoffer salary plus commission, medical/dental benefits, 401k, paid holidays/vacation& use of company cars.
