About the role

We are hiring entry-level and experienced Sales Development Representatives.

Our SocialChorus sales team is made up of ambitious, intellectually curious people. We strive to find the most effective way to grow the company through lead generation and qualification.

You are an ambitious self-starter who will not take no for an answer. You always strive to be the best at what you do. You have high-energy, positive phone presence, and a proven track record of delivering results through academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. You thrive under pressure and work well in a team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate leads through target account selling, outbound prospecting, and calling on inbound leads
  • High quality and high volume outreach to the Fortune 500 
  • Schedule demos for sales team with qualified leads
  • Track and input all activity in SalesForce.com
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of SocialChorus solutions and values
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on product, industry changes, and competitive landscape

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience a plus
  • Entry-level candidates with strong academic, extracurricular, and/or athletic accomplishments 
  • Strong organizational and phone skills
  • Ability to listen to customers and tailor future correspondence to address their needs
  • Phone sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM system is a plus
