About the role

SimuTech is an ANSYS Elite Channel Partner and the only ANSYS reseller in Canada, the world’s leading engineering simulation technology.  In this role you are responsible for developing, maintaining and growing client relationships within your assigned territory and enthusiastically communicating the value of ANSYS software and SimuTech Services.  

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New sales to prospects and existing accounts in your assigned territory (SK, MB and ON)
  • Identify, evaluate and respond to key business issues of the account and develop, present and demonstrate ANSYS software and SimuTech capabilities
  • Prospecting, sales campaign and territory development planning
  • Deal and territory management forecasts, documentation, and activity reporting (Salesforce)
  • Manage/direct internal technical resources as well as ANSYS resources as required for territory development and deal closure

Desired Skills and Experience

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST OFFER:

  • 3 – 5 years of Sales experience in Engineering  Technology Solutions / Software 
  • Strong knowledge of the mechanical/electrical engineering industry is required
  • Experience selling products competitive to ANSYS Engineering Simulation software is preferred
  • Experience selling 3D CAD software is a strong  asset
  • BS Electrical / Mechanical / or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred
  • Professional sales and communication skills with references
  • Positive sales attitude with hunter-killer instincts
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset
  • Willingness to travel regularly across assigned territory
