The ideal candidate for this opportunity is self-motivated with a competitive attitude, a person that loves working with a passionate team to solve client problems. A love of learning and experimenting with brand new software is also a true attribute, as well as motivation to contribute to enhancing company processes and culture.

This role is highly focused on prospecting activities that use email and phone channels to schedule demos with potential client companies. The ability to listen closely and recommend service solutions will be critical to success.

What You’ll Do as a Scout Sales Development Representative

  • Use phone, email, and third party tools to actively prospect for clients

  • Build and maintain accurate contact data within Scout’s CRM tool

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly prospecting goals

  • Schedule introductory calls and demos to showcase Scout tools

  • Make recommendations to improve the prospecting process

What You’ll Bring as a Scout Sales Development Representative

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Sales, or Business Development

  • 1 – 3 years work experience as an Inside Sales or Business Development Representative

  • Track record of consistently exceeding performance quotas in a sales environment

  • Strong internet research and problem identification skills to help clients

  • Excellent cold calling and email communication abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced technology and enterprise sales process

  • Desire to work and grow with a fast-paced start-up company

  • Ability to work within a remote team structure using virtual collaboration tools
