RTS Reps has been a leader in architectural product representation in the construction industry since 1985. We work closely with major design firms, contractors and distributors in the New England area and are involved in some of the highest profile construction projects. You will work with a group of experienced sales reps, all highly motivated and working as a team with our customers and manufacturers.
About the role
|Candidatewill provide sales support for a manufacturer’s rep firm in the constructionindustry. This includes inside sales for the architectural specification andsale of building enclosure products for commercial, industrial and large scaleresidential buildings. Major systems include rainscreen claddings, single plyroofing, air barriers, insulations, daylighting, metal roofing, andventilation.
Additional responsibilities include researching construction reports forqualified projects, categorizing and following up diligently, preparingsubmittal packages, maintaining inventory of product samples and building andmaintaining all social media accounts.
Candidate must be willing to constantly take on more responsibilities.
Architecturalbackground and experience
Priorexperience in Roofing, rainscreen claddings, metal siding, air barriers, metalpanels or insulations
Ableto persuasively communicate construction details
AutoCADknowledge is a definite plus
Knowledgeof CSI formatted specifications, drawings and the project manual is a definiteplus
Strong work ethic and winning attitudewill overcome any lack of preferred qualifications
