Through prospecting and relationship management initiatives, you will target new business in the small to medium business market segment, work to gain an understanding of the customer’s wants and needs, and match them to Moneris’ various payment solutions.

What you will be doing

  • Achieve/exceed sales revenue, count and organizational targets (Monthly, Annually)

  • Discover prospective customers/clients and new target segment and penetrate sales in that area

  • Build strong sales pipelines

  • Use consultative selling techniques to determine the best solution offering for clients

  • Pursue the best, most efficient way to get things done while demonstrating a positive, “can do” attitude

What we are looking for

  • Sales “hunter” mentality, with strong persuasion and objection handling skills

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (reading, writing, and verbal)

  • Strong client-service orientation

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate and network effectively with internal and external contacts

  • High level of initiative and able to drive for results

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows/MS Office Applications

What you need:

  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is strongly preferred for this role.
