About the Role (Account Executive)
This role is 100% focused on net-new business. Successful candidates must be highly driven to hit and exceed quota but selling on value. Strong communication is a given, but is more important here because all sales are completed via phone. The only time you’ll meet with prospects is at conferences/industry events or if that company is local to the Toronto (GTA) area. We’re looking for someone who has the ability to run the complete sales cycle from initial meeting to closed business while orchestrating several key stakeholders and team members. Prospecting is not part of this role as meetings and leads are generated for you. You should have a four year degree with 2-4 years of sales experience with very good results.
LookBookHQ is a marketing technology company that is challenging how marketing departments use/deliver content and how they think about content engagement metrics. Selling to B2B companies, LookBooks help with marketing’s digital demand generation and lead nurturing efforts to make a direct impact on marketing’s contribution to revenue. These results mean that LookBooks are becoming a key part of the modern marketing technology stack as a key layer on top of marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo and Pardot.
● Bachelor’s Degree
● Interest in the software industry and B2B sales
● Be a very strong communicator over the phone
● Be able to effectively run complete sales cycles from initial introduction/discovery call to closed contract
● Be able to teach and educate prospects on new ideas and an innovative technology that they may not have even known existed
● Be able to demonstrate software yourself
● Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required
● Think big, and bring new ideas to the table, regardless of your rank or title
● Overriding ambition and proactive nature, combined with the ability to inspire others
● Highly motivated and willing to work within a fast paced environment with an innate sense of urgency. A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly
