SALES! SALES! SALES! Are you a driven and motivated sales professional? Our client a medium sized Technology Firm is looking for a Sales Manager. Creating and implementing sales initiatives with new and existing clients meeting company sales goals through best practices and by driving a team of sales professionals to reach full potential. 

The Role:

• Managing a sales team, setting targets and goals, setting KPI’s and holding the team members responsible for meeting them

• developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence in the marketplace

• Assist in the development of marketing plans, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans

• Set up training opportunities for sales team members related to technical abilities or company tools and applications

• Administer and be well versed in all Vendor deal registration, spiff, discount and accelerator programs for the purpose of ensuring Vendor targets are met and maximized company profitability

• Perform a minimum number of new client introductions with the assigned Sales Representative

• Perform regular client visits; review, validate & up sell current solution services provided 

• Provide feedback to other management team members related to improved general business practices

• Job shadow Sales Representatives to ensure standards are being met

• Report annually a departmental plan consistent with company goals and business plans related to the sales department

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a Sales Management capacity 

• Champion of sales process, Sales Best Practices and methodologies

• Technical sales abilities related to the IT industry

• Vendor relationship building

• Ability to develop and foster solid business relationships

• Excellent skills utilizing core LOB (Line of Business) applications such as Connect Wise, Quote Werks and any other sales related application

• Sales certifications in all related hardware vendor core product lines

• Cold calling & lead generation capabilities
