Ideal, an AI technology for high-volume recruiting, announces their selection as one of the top Canadian tech startups chosen to participate in “48 Hours in the Valley”

TORONTO, ON (October 31, 2016) – Ideal announced today that they have been selected to participate in the “48 Hours in the Valley” program organized by C100. The “48 Hours in the Valley” program brings Canada’s most promising startups to Silicon Valley and gives them tools, mentors and strategic introductions to accelerate their success.

A company to watch in the world of AI technology, Ideal’s software uses artificial intelligence to instantly identify and screen top candidates for employers overwhelmed with applicants. Analyzing thousands of data points in seconds, Ideal’s Intelligent Screening tool completely replaces the need to review a resume by hand. The technology stands to help large employers take back the thousands of hours wasted manually evaluating resume data each year.

“The problem we are solving is not limited to our local community,” Co-founder and COO, Shaun Ricci explains. “High-volume hiring is a pain point for employers worldwide. We are seeing some great success with our initial customers and we are ready to start scaling the product beyond early adopters. ’48 Hours’ will be the perfect launchpad for that.”

“We’re a proud Canadian company and the ’48 Hours’ program is an incredible opportunity,” says CEO and Co-founder Somen Mondal. “It’s an amazing initiative that really speaks to the value of mentorship within Canada’s thriving tech community. We’re excited to bring Valley expertise home with us.”

The event will take place December 6th – 7th in San Francisco.
