  • HUNT – source your own leads and secure new business appointments through cold calling.
  • COLD CALL – it’s a sales job, you’re not going to get out of this part, but we make it fun with contests and awards!
  • MEETINGS – through hunting and cold calling you’ll be setting up meetings, we’re looking for 10 – 15 meetings a week.  (Activity is the only way to make the money you want to make!)
  • PRESENTATIONS – create customized presentations for the meetings you’re going on that you were able to obtain through cold calling and hunting!
  • CLOSE– your hard work and our training will lead to you closing deals.  Only way to make money is to close deals.  Our managers will be there to support you along the way.  They want you to succeed.


Account Executives maximize advertising sales potential, through the development of quality business relationships and promotion of new/existing advertising products. This position requires a heavy amount of prospecting and lead-development with small businesses. Our consultants will be part of a regional sales team, with each rep focused on creating their own book of business. Our digital marketing solutions include search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), behavioral, contextual and geographic targeting, and online advertising. We pride ourselves on simplifying the marketing process for our customers. 

  • Calling on SMBs and corporate businesses in the San Francisco area to show the value of Hearst’s digital advertising products, such as SEO/SEM, Social Media Marketing, Reputation Management, and Mobile Optimization.
  • Research, prospecting, marketing, cold-calling, presenting, and closing. We want people that have the ability to take full ownership of the sales cycle in their territory up to close.
  • Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion, and consistently asks for the business.
  • Become a valuable asset in the Bay Area business community.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas.

Desired Skills and Experience


  • 1 – 5 years outside/inside sales experience preferred
  • Results oriented individual who strategically pursues business with energy and drive. 
  • Holds themselves accountable for achievement of assigned territory sales goals.
  • Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion, and consistently asks for the business.
  • An extraordinary work ethic, with the ability to think quickly on your feet
  • The ability to make an impact on key decision makers
  • Tech-savvy with solid computer skills is a must. Prior experience with or knowledge of online marketing is a huge plus!
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Valid US drivers’ license and reliable transportation. Role is approximately 60% outside sales.
