In the Business Development Representative role, your days will consist of researching, contacting, and following-up with businesses both medium and large to develop relationships and close the deal.
Primary responsibility is contacting and qualifying prospective customers, and setting up sales calls for our Consultants.
Serve as initial point of contact with sales prospects.
Meet or exceed productivity targets on dials, contacts, and quality appointments set.
Educate and qualify prospects to generate 1-2 quality appointments a day for sales closers, and build strong relationships with businesses.
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
Provide continuous feedback to management and team members on the status of the relationships you develop, your efforts, and the condition and responses from prospects in order to improve the marketing process.
Ensure proper follow-up with all of your accounts and create an exciting experience.
Submitting accurate and timely deals documentation and reports in line with company policies.
Self-educate and keep on top of the IT and hosting industries, in order to be a trusted resource to all prospects.

A degree is preferred, but not required. This is not a remote position. You need to be able to work in our Columbus office. You must be motivated, smart, and persuasive. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop new leads as well as manage and expand existing accounts. Sales training available for the right candidate. Desired Skills and Abilities:
Candidates must be confident and results-oriented.
Knowledge of the mechanics of the Internet, servers, and cloud computing, and a love of technology is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, and analytical skills to think quickly and react accordingly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team building skills.
A passion for B2B conversation with people skills and a solid understanding of general business.
