About the role

Responsibilities:

– Maintain and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers
– Seek new business opportunities with current accounts and increase the overall product mix
– Prepare quotes within pricing margin guidelines, understand product mix, be up to date on pricing and market trends
– Work with the Marketing team on projects and campaigns; provide the Marketing department with customers’ feedback to assist with future product development
– Have a comprehensive knowledge of all products and services provided
– Forecast and planning for assigned accounts in geographic territory.
– Travel to clients’ sites and meet with existing and prospective customers
– Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

– 2-4 years of experience in outside sales from ideally manufacturing, industrial or electrical related calling on the distributor channel
– Excellent verbal communication with the ability to negotiate and influence positively
– Business acumen along with utmost integrity and professionalism
– Demonstrated track record of strong relationship building skills
– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
– Strong computer skills – MS Office suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision , as well as collaboaratively with the team
– Some travel is required
