Job Description

Due to continued expansion in CHC’s business, we are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop new business in the Chicagoland area, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. Within a consultative sales approach, the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for gaining new clients and for introducing additional services to current clients. They will identify and meet with prospects and will develop relationships with key partners such as insurance brokers and third party administrators. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to gain new business through these opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships by way of phone, email, social media and professional networking
  • Conduct live product demonstrations over the phone, via webinar and face to face meetings
  • Develop relationships with third party influence centers (i.e. health care insurance brokers, third party administrators and existing health care providers)
  • Assist in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models
  • Communicate to internal groups the outcome of negotiations and proposals, focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group (e.g., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations)
  • Formulate proposals, working in conjunction with internal operations and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Finance to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals
  • Track and report on the status of all proposed solutions
  • Establish and maintain on-going client and partner relationships to anticipate and resolve potential problems; participate in site visits
  • Attend industry trade shows to initiate new leads and to continue to foster relationships with current clients and partners
  • Maintain accurate records of sales contacts and prospect status in contact database

CHC offers a base salary, uncapped commissions, car allowance and a comprehensive benefit package.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will be independent, self-motivated, and results oriented, with a highly personable and energetic presence. Above all, the candidate will have a positive attitude with a “glass half full" outlook on life.
  • 3+ years of successful outside sales experience. Corporate Wellness industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in wellness, social sciences or human service related field preferred. Associate’s Degree and related experience also considered.
