DESCRIPTION

ChargeSpot brings wireless charging to offices, cafes and other public spaces. We are changing how people interact with their devices by enabling power wherever they go. Our goal is to become the leading provider of wireless charging in public and commercial places with our combination of hardware / software products and change how people charge and consume power on their mobile devices.

We are looking for a high-energy, driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and make a difference. The BDM will report to the Sales Director and will focus on building ChargeSpot distribution channels in North America via OEM dealers, A/V installer and other partner types as they arise.

In this role, you will be responsible for all stages of the sales cycle, including sourcing channel partners, leading sales meetings, progressing the sales cycle through to close and onboarding our channel partners. This includes, but is not limited to:

Working in collaboration with the Sales Director to generate ideas to develop new distribution channels

Create and prioritize strategic target account lists, identify decision makers within the our channel partners and reach out as necessary to book meetings with these decision makers

Run sales calls, either in person or remotely, to build / articulate the value of our solution, demo our solution, and progress sales cycles through to close

Work with product development and marketing teams to determine the best methods for promoting our products

Pitch in wherever else needed

REQUIREMENTS

Love for learning and desire to contribute meaningful efforts to growth of the company

Team player with strong communication skills

Persistence, resilience and creativity in establishing new partners and dealing with barriers

2+ years of experience business development or selling of technology related products to corporations is a strong asset but not necessary, as we will provide all training required  

Commitment to logging / documenting demand generation efforts and progression of opportunities in CRM systems
