About the role

Responsibilities of a CDW Account Manager include:

  • Create, build and nurture a book of business
  • Investigate sources for prospecting and qualifying customers
  • Reach out to potential and established clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Form and expand relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers for each client and territory
  • Organize sales initiatives with internal and external technical specialists, purchasing and other departments within the organization
  • Hit or surpass sales targets
  • Concentrate on client’s IT pain points and develop solutions to satisfy short and long term needs
  • Constantly learn and expand knowledge of products, services, market surroundings and trends by participation in a number of internal training sessions
  • Show capacity to close sales deals and transform customer doubts
  • Maintain relationships and act in a consultative role for existing clients
  • Grow relationships with CDW Canada’s strategic manufacturing partners and expand sales
  • Operate by CDW’s values and Philosophies of Success

  • Well developed communication skills

  • Working computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
