About the role

The Inside Sales Representative opportunity at BlueCat is an exciting career opportunity in our Sales organization.  Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales, you will be responsible for expanding BlueCat’s presence in the marketplace with our customers.

Responsibilities:
– Generate sales opportunities with customers via networking & relationship building as part of our overall coordinated sales strategy
– Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities and documenting sales methodology
– Make regular outbound calls to customers in an effort to uncover & qualify product and service revenue opportunities
– Manage and overcome objections
– Develop and execute on sales plan
– Manage and grow customer relationships
– Meet and exceed targeted sales quotas
– Market features, benefits and advantages of products and services, quote prices and availability 
– Prepares reports as requested

Skills and Experiences Required:
– Bachelor degree and minimum of 3-5 years of technology sales experience, or equivalent
– Track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quota
– Demonstrated success in system based selling
– Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
– Strong people and relationship building skills
– Experience designing, developing, writing and effectively communicating reports, proposals and sales strategies
- High intelligence and mental acuity 
– Strong negotiation and closing skills 
– Creative problem solver who can react quickly and multi-task 
– Highly driven and self-motivated  
– Strong business acumen; polished, and articulate, comfortable selling and presenting to decision makers
– Tech savvy – Salesforce.com, MS Office, LinkedIn, Twitter, social media experience is a plus
