Role Summary:

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the customer relationship and contributing to the client experience. This person will present a clear project plan to clients and communicate with the team and client to achieve desired results You will be working with customers on their account strategy, and upselling the Abakus solutions across your client’s business. 

The Senior Account Manager reports to VP, Sales and Customer Success and will be based in Emeryville.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts and ensure project goals are achieved
  • Responsible for the management of a portfolio of client accounts with the goal of fostering long-term business relationships and continued growth
  • Develop deep understanding of clients needs and business objectives
  • Manage customer satisfaction by monitoring and anticipating problems
  • Provide feedback to team to continue to grow customer satisfaction
  • Requires communication via the web and face-to-face with clients about client needs, product updates and new product releases
  • Track account activity in CRM tool (Salesforce)
  • Knowledgable of company offerings and associated technologies
  • Demonstrate the value of long-term agreements with client partners
  • Create satisfied customers who are willing to recommend Abakus to other businesses 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years account manager experience in digital marketing industry required
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited university
  • A background in selling SaaS
  • Track record of motivating customers and delivering exceptional results
  • Phenomenal project management and organizational skills
  • Flexible with an ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • Experience with managing enterprise level relationships
  • Track record of obtaining quota, MRR, customer retention and growth in past positions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive independently and in a small company environment
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Desk.com, Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Previous sales methodology training preferred
